Prominent YouTube Channel “Apple WWDC Videos” Issued Multiple Takedown Strikes

Brendan Shanks, owner of the channel “Apple WWDC Videos” shared the news on Twitter, highlighting screenshots of DMCA notices sent by YouTube. The YouTube channel contains hundreds of videos from WWDC keynotes, and it was quite popular amongst fans.

In contrast, Shanks’ channel contained “20-year-old WWDC videos”. As for Shank, he will upload the original video files from his “Apple WWDC Videos” YouTube channel to the Internet Archive.
